Below we have answered the most frequently asked questions
we regularly hear from customers regarding intimate waxing !

Question

  • What exactly is Brazilian Waxing?

Answer

  • Well – most of you have a vague idea of what a bikini wax is, but are not so sure what exactly is covered or rather, uncovered!. While a bikini wax removes the hair to make sure the skin along the sides of your bikini is hair free, a Brazilian wax goes a step further and removes the hair on the front of your pubic area i.e the fleshy area above your labia, your vaginal lips, and if you want to the hair in between your bum cheeks.

Question

  • Does it hurt?

Answer

  • This is the most common question we hear, and we understand your worries. If you have ever got hair waxing done in any area of your body, you know that the process causes some discomfort at first, but with the right preparation and an experienced esthetician, the process becomes increasingly less painful & hassle free. The pain you feel in your session will depends on several factors including your own pain threshold which of course will vary from person to person.

Question

  • How do I make it less painful?

Answer

  • This is the second most asked question. We recommend the following to reduce the amount of discomfort you may feel during your Brazilian waxing session:
    a) Timing- It is best to not schedule your waxing appointment between 5 days before, during, or till 3 days after your period. Your skin is quite sensitive during this time, so it is a good idea to wait it out and schedule your session out of these intervals.
    b) Hair at least ¼ inches long- Another thing to keep in mind is that you must let your pubic hair grow back to at least 1/4th inch before your waxing session, this will make the procedure much quicker and less painful, as longer hairs are easier to remove than short ones.
    c) A good waxing solution- Use a good solution or product to avoid an ingrowing hair problem – ask your therapist for a recommendation.
    c) Take pain relief- We recommend you take pain relief a hour or so before your session
